Sorry to keep bothering everybody with all these questions, but like I said before, this is all new to me. I now have 6 zebra danos in the tank and I have one that is staying by itself and the other 5 are just swimming around in circles and staying near the top of the tank in just one location. I also have a air stone(semi large) in the middle of the tank and it is throwing off a lot of bubbles, and the danos seem to be staying away from that location. The LPS did not have any air bubbles in their tanks, so this might be the reason. What does everybody think about this, maybe too many bubbles?

Usually a bubbler is a good idea, but the filter should be doing most of the oxygenation. If the bubbler is producing a significant wake all the way across the top of the aquarium, it probably needs to be turned down. You could cut the airflow to a minimum and see how the zebra fish react. Some of the other fish you want to put in the aquarium are slow swimmers, and the turbulence can be very unpleasant for them. If you can't run the air pump slower, you can always bleed off some of the air. Just put a valve between the air pump and check valve. If you don't have a check (one way) valve, they're cheap and will save a mess if the power goes off and the pump is below the aquarium water level.

How long have the fish been in the aquarium? It may take a few days for them to acclimate, but the one swimming alone is not a good sign.

You are always welcome to ask questions. It's how we all learn.

As of now the Danos have only been in the tank approx. 6 hours. I did turn the bubbler off and that did make a differance. The one Dano who was swimming by himself has now joined with the others, now there is another Dano who is swimming down on the bottom of the tank thru all the plant material and decorations and will not join the others. All the reading I have done, and that is my only knowledge of Danos, I have always read that they always swam in a shoal, not by themselves as this one is doing. I guess until you actually see what goes on in the fish world, you really don't know. Does that make any sense to you, it doesn't to me

It usually takes fish a couple of days to acclimate to their new aquarium, so you may not have anything to worry about. Don't forget to leave the light out until morning.
