wet/dry filters work great with co2. I was worried about that myself since I use a wet/dry filter with my 75gallon planted tank. Surface turbulence in the tank causes more loss than the trickle filter does. Here is a link to an article on this subject that Chuck Gadd sent me when I was investigating this.

My sump for the trickle filter has the heater and reactor for the co2 in it. One pump to cycle the water back to the tank, and a small cheap pump/powerhead pumping water out of the sump into the reactor and back into the sump.
as far as whether it will hold 2 heaters? that depends on the filter you get. But most should be able to accomodate 2 heaters no problem.
