What do eggs look like

I have a about 5 small patches on my black filter in my tank, these patches look a bit like frogspawn but with a white centre and smaller too.

Are these eggs ? if so what should I do ?

Sounds like snail eggs. Tetras are egg scatterers.

I, too, vote for snail eggs. Little globs of gelatinous stuff 1/8' to 1/4' or so across with several visible dots in them. I would also suspect that the snail infestation is just beginning
