Hey there, I have a 110L tank and currently have;
15 neons
15 guppys
10 zebra danios
2 sword fish
and am looking at getting 4 dwarf guarmies and a fighting fish.... obviously this is a huge amount of waste and i am currently doing weekly water changing and cleaning of glass and gravel. This dosnt bother me as i respect the fact that gravel feeders dont actual keep the bottom of a tank clean, infact they make it worse. What i am looking for is a bottom feeder or 2/3 just to keep fish on each level of the tank, what would you recomend as a good community bottom feeder that could possibly go well with 1 or more of its own or other bottom feeder specieas.
Thanks.

Cory cats are probably one of the best bottom dwelling fish for a community aquarium. They like to school, so get several. A male Betta will not do well in your aquarium; their flowing fins make them terrible swimmers and an excellent target for fin nippers. Your aquarium is fairly large, but it's close to being over crowded and will require careful maintenance. Be sure to research a fish species before adding any new type to your aquarium. Some species can out grow an aquarium, and some become very aggressive when they mature.

I reccomend the Kohli loach. They are neat to watch and in groups of three or more are quite commical. They are great for eating excess flake food as well. Another one is the Cory cat. I reccomend the jade, but they do have a tendancy to dart up to the surface for air, knocking the other fish out on the way. Several of my guppies have been knocked sensless a few times. But either one is a great addition to your tank!

I also recommend the Kohuli loach. I have several and they are unlike any other community fish. They are snake like or eel like bottom fish. Just be careful when vacuuming your substrate. I pinched one a few months ago and unfortunately it died.
