okay so i have a male and female in a 10g and this morning goldy the red male =P made a bubble nest...about 2 inches by 2 1/2 inches...i gotta go to school now but the female is in a breeding trap and the bubble nest is like around it any suggestions on when i should take her out of the breeder and into the 10g???? also how big should a bubble nest be?

When the male builds the bubble nest, it's time to introduce the female. Then take her out as soon as they spawn. The male will tend the eggs until they are free swimming. After that, he'll probably eat the fry if you leave him in the aquarium. A bubble nest is usually the diameter of a quarter or half dollar, and is several bubbles thick.

This one is like 8 inches long by 2 inches wide!?!

If the female is ready, you should have quite a batch of Bettas.

CONGRATS!!!

My betta fills up the underside of the cup with bubbles... Not the tall way, but the wide and long ways...

It's a lot taller than what I would have though as well.

i read the link on betta breeding, it seems like a lot of work for the male. luckily i am not a betta. let us know how it turns out.
